And, no, it was not at some expensive lingerie shop but right in his office, with his smartphone hovering over a Wacoal newspaper ad. It’s not every day that a company CEO asks you to check out brassieres. Now, let me go online to see if I can buy a new tablet. (iSnap works only for gadgets with cameras.) The app is available for both smartphone and tablet. Now, this offers more appeal for non-smartphone fans like me. Imagine working for a company whose new advancement in delivering the news involves an app, called iSnap, that allows readers to scan stories so they can view videos and photo galleries. To the world’s technology-savvy population, this is social suicide and now, may also mean career suicide. If I need to call or SMS someone, I do not need a smartphone. I’ve always considered owning a smartphone pointless since I am at a desk the whole day connected to the Internet on my Windows PC. Control Mage utilizes a mix of high amounts of card generation to maintain their resources on the mid and late-game, as well as big finishers in the late game using either burst damage or big minions, often using cost-reduction effects to play out their biggest threats in quick succession.Ĭontrol Mage is the successor to Freeze Mage, formed after the launch of Journey to Un'Goro thanks to the inclusion of powerful cards such as Arcanologist and Primordial Glyph. ![]() ![]() Control Mage has a flexible game plan, being capable of starting with an aggressive, Tempo Mage-style opening with Mana Wyrm or Medivh's Valet and focus on finishing the opponent with burst. With the release of Kobolds and Catacombs, most Control Mage shifted towards Big Spell Mage, using synergy effects with high-cost spells and grinding out victories over very long value games. A generalist type of Control Mage saw a return when Luna's Pocket Galaxy was buffed from 7 to 5 mana, which has great synergy with Conjurer's Calling to create huge boards for low mana. Those big board clear spells come in the forms of Dragon’s Fury, Blizzard, Meteor, and Flamestrike. Check out this Unknown Mage Hearthstone deck for the Fractured in Alterac Valley. Something to keep in mind specifically for the Secret Hunter match-up is that many of your opponent’s minions are summoned when you trigger their secrets. A fantastic way to slow secret Hunter down is by choosing not to attack when they have secrets in play. Since the BSM win condition revolves around late game, you don’t really have to worry about dealing early game damage to your opponent. This gives you the option to not attack and as a result to not trigger their secrets. The deck’s last win condition comes in the form of Frost Lich Jaina. For anyone who has played Mage since The Frozen Throne expansion, Jaina will be a familiar face. Jaina is a Mage Hero card that cost nine mana to play. Once on the field, Jaina summons a 3/6 Water Elemental and transforms your hero power so that it now summons a Water Elemental anytime it is used to kill a minion. She also gives your elementals lifesteal. With this win condition the idea is to heal so much and so consistently that your opponent either runs out of cards or loses to your army of elementals before then. This is another win condition Hunter usually has no answer for. Usually, hunters will drop the Rexxar Hero card and attempt to craft custom beasts that they can use to overwhelm you before they run out of cards. Thanks to the healing from your elementals, this usually isn’t an issue. Keep in mind the fact that your elementals also freeze what they attack, so this gives you the ability to trade into their big beast and keep them from smashing your health. ![]() ![]() ![]() In his second year, he took time off to serve in the military, but found military life difficult.
